The Aero L-29 DelfĂn is a military jet trainer aircraft that became the standard jet trainer for the air forces of Warsaw Pact nations in the 1960s. It was Czechoslovakia's first locally designed and built jet aircraft. The
L-29 is still in service in some Eastern-block and African Countries as an advanced fighter-trainer and light ground attack fighter. Our 1973 L-29 is painted in desert camouflage, modified with Rolls Royce Viper 540 engine, increasing the thrust from the standard engine of 1930 lbs to 3340 lbs - enabling our L-29 to out perform the later model L-39C.
